Pure Leaf Pyramid Tea Bags #PureLeafHomeBrew

Earlier this month, Influenster pleasantly surprised me by sending over a Pure Leaf VoxBox that included two full size boxes of tea that included 16 pyramid bags of tea each. The two flavors were Iced Green Tea with Citrus and the other was Black Tea with Vanilla.

The following is my review of the Pure Leaf Iced Green Tea with Citrus that I posted to Influenster:

First off, I would like to thank Pure Leaf and Influenster for sending me box of Pure Leaf Iced Green Tea with Citrus with 16 pyramid tea bags to try out.  

Don't let the box fool you into thinking that you can only have this tea iced, you can have it hot as well! Most of the time, I do enjoy my tea hot, so at first, I was worried that I would have to make this tea iced in order to enjoy it. However, even in the instructions, it recommends pouring boiling water over one pyramid bag and let it steep for 2 minutes before removing the tea bag. At this point, you can enjoy your hot tea beverage, or if you prefer, you can fill the glass with ice and then stir. Also, if you don't mind waiting, you can always just leave the hot tea in the freezer or fridge and let it cool that way.  

However, since I prefer my tea hot, I decided to go ahead and drink it after I let the tea bag steep for a minute or two. For those of you who like it a bit sweeter, I recommend adding in a tiny teaspoon of sugar. Otherwise, drinking it as is perfectly fine as well.  

So the first thing I noticed was the fragrant citrusy scent, and was delightedly surprised at the cute pyramid bag that encompasses the tea leaves. The quality of the aromatic green tea yearns me to return for one sip after the other.  

Knowing that this Pure Leaf tea is Rainforest Alliance Certified just adds to the fact that I love the tea more and more. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this complimentary tea sample, and I would definitely stock up on some more Pure Leaf varieties in the future. I can't wait to try the Black Tea with Vanilla; I imagine that one would be equally as delightful!

Remember when I applied the NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Forever Fuchsia in this video and this post.

NYC Expert Last Lip Color

So I made a video using the "select a file" and then "from my webcam and recorded a 2-minute review and tutorial of applying this NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Forever Fuchsia. Of course my blog decides to just delete those videos with no way of accessing it. Next time, I'm just going to record on my computer and upload it, that way, I'd still have the physical copy somewhere.

Anyway, in my brief video review, I opened up the wrapping around this product and directly applied the lipstick to my lips, swiping once on my lower lip and then half half on my upper lip. The lip color surprised me. It's vibrant and bright pink like I expected but in a more feminine and beautiful way. Somehow just applying one layer of lipstick as the only makeup to my cleanly washed face made me feel that much more beautiful.

There was a slight scent to the lip color, but it was a pleasant scent. I was also quite surprised at how smoothly the product could be applied to my lip. It's very lightweight and I almost can't feel as if I'm wearing anything more than a light lip balm. It's not sticky at all and my lips feel quite natural! I'm really starting to love this product and I can see myself wearing this everyday! Cheers to a new favorite lip product!

Celestial Seasonings Green Tea Review

It's always a treat to use an at home DYI facial treatment, and Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa is just the right product to instantly give your skin a cleaning and an after glow to appear. I honesstly was impressed at the results afterwards, and the entire process is really easy and I got to relax for 10 minutes. Highly recommended!

I think my next fitness milestone is to start up a routine that is reachable and more importantly attainable. A lot of people close to me are indeed runners, but I've yet to ever run myself. In fact, I've volunteered to give out food and drinks at the last marathon I was at, but never participated as a runner. I vaguely remember doing a walk so that might be next fitness milestone, to join a charity marathon and to actively participate by raising money to walk or maybe even run.

It's hard to take that extra effort to exercise beyond what is necessary for a day to day functioning. Sometimes, it may require that extra push to really hit the gym and put in the energy to exercise for that day. 

For me, it's especially difficult with an overly busy day-to-day schedule. For me, it's helpful when I'm in a group setting and we are all working together to achieve a similar goal. Sometimes just finding a gym buddy to constantly remind each why the exercise is important cane be enough motivation to establish a routine. We are people of habit, and if the habit is to go and do something that is beneficial for us, then we can guarantee that it was a good day. 

Keep at what I do and I encourage you all to find the time to have a fitness routine scheduled into your life. The endorphins released during exercising may just help brighten your mood and make your day that much better! Go on, what you waiting for, get out there and live the good life!

My first impression of these Palmolive Fresh Infusions was really how beautifully scented each and every one of these concentrated dish liquid is! Lemon Thyme is my favorite, but I throughly enjoyed the other scent: Ginger White Tea and Lime Basil. It makes it really hard to pick out a favorite! So go ahead, get all three and try them all! The Taste: Tuesday at 8|7c on ABC

So as I'm currently watching The Taste online on the abc player or http://abc.tv/Z3jimp, I wanted to write a post and share about the show with you guys! So The Taste is a food competition show on ABC where the participants have to cook with certain ingredients, including 5 'secret' ingredients and combine it together to come up with a masterpiece dish. The challenge: to make just one spoonful of food that the judges would taste. Winning would be life-challenging for these contestants! Tune in on Tuesday at 8/7c on ABC to watch The Taste.
